RESILIENCE, RIGHTS & RESPECTFUL RELATIONSHIPS (4Rs)

Respectful Relationships education is a core component of the Victorian Curriculum from foundation to year 12. It is all about embedding a culture of respect and equality across the entire school community. Essendon Keilor College employs a whole-school approach that promotes a culture that ensures respectful relationships and gender equality practices are modelled across the entire school community. We believe that Respectful Relationships goes beyond curriculum, and recognise that the 4Rs classroom learning needs to be reinforced by what is modelled within our school community. Our whole school approach to the 4Rs is underpinned by:

  • School Culture & Environment

  • School Leadership & Commitment

  • Professional Learning Strategy

  • Support for Staff & Students

  • Community Partnerships

  • Teaching & Learning
