This year, EKC’s Premier League Boys Football team was nominated for the SSV Spirit of Sport Award, and were the eventual winners.

The nomination came from an opposing school, recognising our players for demonstrating one or more of the following key values:

• Spirit of Sport: Positive attitude, love of the game, celebration of others, and an inclusive approach.
• Respect: Towards opponents, teammates, officials, coaches, and spectators.
• Integrity: Fair play, honesty, and accepting mistakes.
• Leadership: Motivating others, setting a good example, and supporting teammates.

We are extremely proud of our boys for displaying these qualities. Their recognition reflects not only their character and sportsmanship but also the hard work and commitment of our Football Academy staff in developing our players, not just as athletes, but as outstanding young people.
