Our 2025 Valedictorian, Cody Kotoski, has approached every challenge with dedication and hard work, giving himself the greatest opportunity for success. Equally important, he has consistently supported others, offering help, encouragement, and calm reassurance to those around them. Cody’s positive attitude, steady presence, and ability to get along with everyone meant that many students naturally gravitate towards his friendly and open personality. Cody has become someone anyone could rely on if they needed to. Whether it was support or humour, calmness, or positivity, he was there for their peers.
We often remind students that you don’t need a formal leadership badge to make a meaningful impact within our school community. Cody’s positive influence has always stretched far beyond titles. Teachers and peers alike have consistently noted his dependability, generosity, and willingness to lend a hand. If you asked for help, he was there—never seeking recognition, never thinking anything was too hard, too inconvenient, or too time-consuming.
What has always supported Cody is his strong moral values. He knows who he is and what he stands for. His actions are not shaped by peer pressure or the expectations of others, but by his own integrity, resilience, and belief in doing what is right.
The 2025 Valedictorian has been a vital thread in the fabric of this year level—uplifting others with their positivity, determination, and commitment to the people around them. This is a prestigious acknowledgement at EKC, and Cody’s name will be etched on the honour board alongside the school DUX in our Year 12 Study Centre.
