Passionate about progress

Essendon Keilor College is a co-educational, multi-campus government school servicing Years 7-12 students in the north-western metropolitan suburbs of Melbourne. We operate Junior campuses for Years 7-9 students in Keilor East and Niddrie, and a Senior campus for Years 10-12 students in Essendon. Senior students can choose course combinations from up to 40 VCE studies, three VET subjects, as well as Intermediate and Senior VCAL. Our growing college enrols 700 students including over 140 international students.

The College was founded in 1993 with the amalgamation of Queens Park Secondary College (formerly Essendon Technical School), Essendon High School, Niddrie High School and Keilor Heights Secondary College. Since inception, the College has remained committed to providing an excellent education in a caring and supportive environment. Today, because we’re future-focused, this means partnering with all community members to instil the values and implement the vision and strategic direction that best prepares students to flourish in the ever-evolving 21st century.

To that end, our expert teachers deliver an engaging, personalised curriculum that fosters continual progress and peak performance. It is an empowering process that equally fosters academic and personal development, and provides countless opportunities to celebrate success.

Each child’s positive, holistic schooling experience is intentionally fostered by: our nurturing, orderly environment; our enriching curriculum and broad learning opportunities; our exceptional facilities; our service orientation; and our commitment to innovation.
