Curriculum - Overview
At the senior campus situated in Essendon students in Years 11 & 12 can undertake studies in the VCE (Victorian Certificate of Eduction), VET (Vocational and Educational Training) or VCAL (Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning). Year 10 students ready for acceleration can undertake a VCE or VET study in addition to their Year 10 program.
Students in Years 7 - 10 participate in a comprehensive curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum. The Victorian Curriculum (Foundation to Year 10) sets out what every student should learn during their first eleven years of schooling. The curriculum is the common set of knowledge and skills required by students for life-long learning, social development and active and informed citizenship. The Victorian Curriculum F-10 incorporates the Australian Curriculum and reflects Victorian priorities and standards.
There are many opportunities for students to participate in a wide-ranging extra curricular program involving sport, drama, camps, community involvement and an instrumental music program.
