Intermediate Boys Football
Congratulations to the intermediate boys football side on winning all four games to make it through to the next stage of the competition. It was a very challenging day for the students, with all four games being played back to back, with 5 minute intervals between games. They worked very well as a team and can be very proud of the way they performed. There were impressive performances throughout the day from many players, but it was the team work and ability to work together, which was why they had such a successful day.
Well done boys you were well deserved winners.
Victorian U/15 Schoolboys
Congratulations to Matthew Stillman and Bruno Laguda for being selected to represent Victoria at the Under 15 Schoolboy Carnival in Adelaide on July 21st - 29th. It is a fantastic achievement for the boys, as they have worked extremely hard and gone through a rigorous training and match practice program in order to gain selection. Having two students selected in a squad of 25 to represent the State is an outstanding outcome for the players and a credit to the hard work and deication they are showing to their football. Well Done.
Multicultural and Indigenous Game
We have had 5 players selected to represent the Indigenous and Multicultural sides over the weekend at Victoria Park against each other. Representing the Indigenous side were Koolyn Briggs and Athol Jetta, who had previously represented the same side in a national carnival on the Gold Coast this year. While Hisham Kerbatieh, Jayden Ranno and Mohammed Mohammed represented the Multicultural side who were the winners on the day. The two sides meet again in the coming weeks and we wish all players every success in the next game. Congratulations to you all, it is a great achievement making such sides.
