Over View
Essendon Keilor College provides high quality programs in the 8 areas identified in the Victorian Essential learning Standard [VELS] :
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- Languages Other Than English: Italian and Japanese
- Health and Physical Education – as well as Sport
- Technology
- Arts
- Humanities
Structured on a 10 day timetable, students work 30 periods a week. In addition all students participate in a Focus Group program:
- In Years 7 & 8 students concentrate on developing Literacy and Numeracy skills
- In Year 9 students explore Health and well-being
- In Year 10 students address Study Skills, Work Experience and are prepared for their Senior School studies – VCE, VCAL and VET
