Essendon Keilor College’s Junior School on the Niddrie campus is one of two excellent options for Years 7-9 students. It is located in Peters Street, Airport West, adjacent to Niddrie Primary School.
We’re thrilled that the flexible nature of our new technology-rich learning space is bringing students together to explore, design, create, build and present like never before. In doing so our learners are not only engaged and motivated, they’re honing the life skills of effective communication, cooperation and adaptability.
We love being part of the wider learning community that is Essendon Keilor College. It gives our students access to a wider range of facilities and programs and makes the transition to the senior campus for Year 10 students seamless. But as a sub-school we get to make meeting the academic and social needs of young adolescents our sole focus.
We excel at this, in part, by fostering a sense of family on our campus. We create an environment where feeling safe, supported and respected means you can take the risks required to be your best. We’re small enough to know each student and to quickly develop the trust relationships required for effective learning. Listening, caring and intervening to support and extend learning in and beyond the classroom is our strength.
The Niddrie campus can be easily accessed by car and bus.
